Is it Really God’s Will to Heal?

Some people say it might not always be God’s will to heal,

But what sort of doctored doctrine do such words reveal?

James says a double-minded man gets nothing from the Lord.

To get results in prayer, such unbelief we can’t afford.

Did Jesus not say that if we’d believe and would not doubt,

We’d be able to move mountains? That’s what faith is all about.

For God gives good, not evil things, for those who do believe.

And if we know God’s will, we know we’re certain to receive.

Faith comes from careful hearing, meditating on God’s Word,

Not evil health reports or so-called “faith failures” we’ve heard.

To mix God’s Word with faith, we need to focus on the Lord,

Based on His promises, not strong viewpoints of the church board (bored).

Some people pick apart the Word to find a cause for doubt.

They argue with God’s truth. Its glorious message they cast out.

But God believes all things are possible, for He is love.

And when we lean on Him, we have His wisdom from above.

In Christ, His every promise is “Yes,” and in Him “Amen.”

And it’s His faith that saves us, so let’s come to Him again.

Let’s trust Him to help us defeat our unbelief and doubt.

Bless Him for His faithfulness and of His love do shout.
